2016-05-24 -  SPORTSFIVE REPORT:  Earlier this season, Webster Schroeder lost to Fairport 4-3. In the first round of sectionals, the Warriors (#5 seed) came for revenge and defeated Fairport (#4 seed) 10-9. This was the first time that Schroeder has defeated Fairport since 2008. The Red Raiders have won the last ten contests. The game was a series of runs. Schroeder controlled both the beginning and the end of the game with Fairport making a six goals run to end the second quarter.

Schroeder scored the first three goals with Collin and Jared Griffin combining for 3g-2a. Collin scored the opening goal of an assist from Jared. Less than a minute later Jared scored with an assist from Conor Bollin. The first quarter ended with Collin assisting Jared. The Warriors led 3-0 after 12 minutes.
