Looking Back
The week was headlined by many career milestones and standout individual performances. Pittsford's Avery Valenti was arguably the week's most impactful player, posting six goals and two assists in a 20-10 win over Irondequoit on Tuesday before delivering the overtime winner at West Genesee on Thursday to keep Pittsford unbeaten at 4-0. On the milestone front,
Newark's Sam Underhill and Irondequoit's Cooper Moore both reached 200 career goals on Saturday, while Penn Yan's Greyson Hathway and Victor's Eli Ricci both surpassed 400 career faceoff wins on Thursday, one of several faceoff records to fall, including Greece Storm's Eric Odell going a stunning 25-for-26 on Saturday. Brighton remained perfect at 3-0 behind Austin Flaum's four-goal effort and Logan Serve's 200th career save, and Aquinas got eye-catching contributions from two freshmen, Parker Wegman's seven-goal explosion on Tuesday and Kellan Campe's five-goal game on Thursday.
SATURDAY - Saturday's action was defined by career milestones, with Newark's Sam Underhill posting nine goals to reach 200 for his career, Irondequoit's Cooper Moore also hitting 200, and Penn Yan's Braden Fingar reaching 150. Pittsford's Peter Roussell reached exactly 300 career faceoff wins, Schroeder earned its first win of the season behind first varsity goals from Rory Champlin and Casey Pagano, and Greece Storm's Eric Odell went 25-for-26 at the faceoff dot in the Storm's first win of the year.

packed with milestones and close finishes. Pittsford stayed unbeaten at 4-0 on Avery Valenti's overtime goal at West Genesee, while Brighton remained perfect at 3-0 behind four goals from Austin Flaum and Logan Serve's 200th career save in a 9-7 win over McQuaid. Penfield's Brodie Joyce reached 100 career assists in a 12-5 win at Archbishop Stepinac, Penn Yan's Greyson Hathway surpassed 400 career faceoff wins in a loss to Thomas, and Victor's Eli Ricci hit the same milestone in a 14-10 win over a strong St. Andrews program in Florida.
