The Blue Devils scored five goals in each of the first two quarters to build a commanding lead, with seven different players finding the net on the night. McLane Stermole handled most of the work in goal for Haverling, stopping four of six shots for a 67% save percentage over 45 minutes. Leading the way for Haverling (1-0) was sophomore Drew Spears with three goals and one assist. Freshman attackman Mason Rooks and freshman midfielder Mason Calkins each scored two goals, with Rooks adding an assist — all career firsts for both players.
